I live in Bransgore, just a couple of miles from Christchurch. I have lived in the
area for over 20 years so have an extensive knowledge of all the roads and the test routes for Bournemouth. I live with my wife and daughter.
I enjoy walking in the forest and days out with the family.
I also work with the youth service as a support worker, it is challenging but fun!
Peter redrup has achieved the coveted institute of advanced motorist certificate. (IAM) Having passed the IAM driving examinations Peter is well placed to deliver advanced driving tuition. The IAM was formed to promote safer driving within the police force and is the system now used by many including ROSPA.
My passion is to teach. For many years I taught people to fly light aircraft but now I’m happy to keep my feet firmly on the ground and teach driving skills. I really enjoy seeing learners' progress and pass their test.

My Driving School Car
My current training vehicle is a brand new air conditioned Hyundai i120 In my opinion it is the ideal car to learn in. It is very easy to drive being very easy to reverse and do the maneuvers for the test. The controls are light and simple to use, power steering helping here. The car is fitted with He-Man dual controls for your safety

"Driving didn’t come naturally for me like it does for some people and, having always been successful academically, failing wasn’t a nice feeling! I started driving lessons as soon as I turned 17 and 2 years later I was no nearer to passing my test. I took a break from driving when I moved down to Bournemouth for university but with my theory test certificate due to run out within a few months, I decided to get back behind the wheel. That’s when I started lessons with Peter.
I’ve had quite a few driving instructors along the way but Peter has definitely been the best. He always stayed calm, friendly and relaxed but more than anything he made me believe in my ability for the first time. From tackling the dreaded roundabouts in the town centre to more leisurely drives along the Sandbanks coastline, I started to enjoy driving, something I never thought would happen!
